Since 2021, Eden Reforestation Projects has been working directly with traditional groups, indigenous people, Quilombola communities, and local governments in Brazil to reforest 30,000 hectares including mangrove estuaries in the Amazon, the tropical dry Caatinga forest, and the Cerrado tropical mountain system. Across six projects sites, they’ve planted over 600,500 trees and employed over 60 local community members to date.
