Eden Reforestation projects has been working with the government of Kenya to achieve at least 10% forest cover in the country, after decades of logging, charcoal burning and farmland settling led to over 90% deforestation. Working at 45 sites across the Kijabe Forest and the Northern Coast, they’ve produced over 50 million trees since March of 2020, employing over 1050 local people.
